Job summary

NHS Management, LLC in Alabama is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our interdisciplinary team in a long-term care and rehabilitation facility.

You will provide direct nursing care, assist with rehabilitation plans, and work with RNs, physicians, and therapists to maintain high-quality resident care. This on-site role offers competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license.
• Strong clinical skills in medication administration and wound care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented and compassionate patient-focused approach.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document residents’ health status, including vital signs, and report changes to the supervising RN or physician.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and feeding, as needed.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to support residents’ recovery goals across physical, occupational, and speech therapy plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.
• Provide emotional support and education to residents and their families.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
