Mercy’s Regional Float Pool LPN is a part-time night position serving the East Region. The role requires an LPN license, 1 year of bedside Med/Surg experience (2 years for ED/ICU), and ongoing certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable). You will float to multiple Mercy facilities, delivering patient-centered nursing care across diverse units.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Must maintain current LPN license in the hiring state
• One year of recent bedside LPN experience in Med Surg; two years for ED/ICU/etc.
• Required certifications: BLS for Med Surg; BLS/ACLS for Critical Care; BLS/ACLS/PALS for Emergency Department; IV certification may be required

Responsabilités

• Join Mercy’s Regional Float Pool and provide care across multiple hospitals in the St. Louis region.
• Float to designated facilities and units including Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, Emergency Dept, and more.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care per standards of practice.

Qualifications:

Required Education:

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program

Licensure:

Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements

Experience:

One year of

recent

bed-side LPN experience to work Med Surg.For all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.) a minimum of two years of

recent

bed-side LPN experience.

Stand/Walk most of the time on duty; significant amount of bending and stooping, as well as lifting and turning patients with assistance; push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
