Job summary

Pulse Heart Institute Float LPN I at MultiCare Health System is a .75 FTE position with night shifts and 12-hour rotations, traveling between Pulse locations to support the clinic with high-quality care.

You must be a graduate of an accredited LPN program with WA state (or MLS) license, BLS (ACLS within 3 months), and ideally 3 years of relevant experience; a valid WA driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

• Current LPN license in Washington State or MLS.
• BLS certification; ACLS within 3 months of hire.
• Three years of experience preferred.
• Current experience in assigned specialty.

Responsibilities

• Issue high-quality nursing care as part of a multidisciplinary Pulse Heart Institute team.
• Float between locations to support Pulse Clinic and staff collaborations.
• Provide patient comfort, safety, and education in collaboration with physicians.

FTE and Schedule

FTE: .75, Shift: Nights, Schedule: 12 hour shifts rotating weekends

Position Summary

The LPN I Pulse Heart Institute Float is an ideal role for those looking to work in team collaboration providing support to the Pulse Clinic. Together, you and a skilled team will provide high-quality care and services focused on the comfort and well-being of patients and families. As a float employee, you will additionally travel between a variety of locations, offering you a range of work environments and staff collaborations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse in Washington State or Multistate license endorsement (MLS)
• Current BLS Certification ACLS within 3 months of hire
• Three (3) years of experience preferred
• Current experience in assigned specialty
• Current Washington state driver's license and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state

Pay and Benefit Expectations

• Pay scale is $28.63 - $47.31 USD.
• We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off.
