Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate nursing care along the health-illness continuum within Pulmonary Services. You will assess patients, document findings, delegate tasks appropriately, and collaborate with the care team to support safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.

Day shifts, 40 hours weekly, with standard hospital benefits. Active Ohio LPN license and BLS certification required; familiarity with Ohio Nurse Practice Act

Qualifications

• High School or GED (Required).
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing health status assessments and document findings.
• Document planned nursing interventions and coordinate care plans.
• Evaluate response to interventions and revise the plan as needed.
• Delegate tasks per criteria and state statutes; supervise delegated work.
• Participate in process improvement and act as patient advocate.
• Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency within the healthcare team.
