Job summary

Rittenhouse Senior Living of Hoover is looking for a part-time LPN to work the 11-7 shift on Saturdays and Sundays every other weekend. The ideal candidate will help provide essential services for our assisted living residents, including medication management and supervising Personal Care Assistants.

Qualified applicants must hold a nursing license from Alabama and have at least one year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or assisted living. Experience in geriatric nursing and memory care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered nursing license from the State of Alabama.
• One year of experience in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, or similar.
• Preferred experience in geriatric nursing and memory care.

Job Description

Provide adequate and sufficient services to meet the needs of assisted living residents and assure that preventative measures, restorative services, activities and related support services are carried out, recorded and reviewed. Duties include medication management, documentation, and supervising Personal Care Assistants in providing direct resident care. Interact with residents, families, visitors, physicians, and other on‑site health care providers.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing with a current unencumbered license from the State of Alabama. One year of experience in SNF, ALF, or SCALF required. Preferred experience in geriatric nursing and memory care.
