Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a PRN position in long-term care. The nurse provides professional care under supervision, administers medications, and supports the interdisciplinary team to meet residents' needs.

Availability for 6 shifts per month, including two weekend shifts and holiday rotation, is required. Additional incentives include $1.25/hour for weekend hours and $1.25/hour for hours from 6pm-6am.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program (LPN).
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Must hold an active LPN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care.
• Assist in administering medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document resident care, assessments and outcomes; maintain confidentiality.
