The PRN pool emphasizes resident care, documentation in PCC, and collaboration with clinical teams to support quality outcomes. Qualified candidates have an active LPN license, 2+ years of direct care, BLS/CPR, and a patient-centric approach.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct-care LPN experience.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA requirements.

• Commitment to safe, high-quality nursing.
• Ability to work five shifts per month across two Lorien facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per resident care plans.
• Assess residents and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer meds and treatments as ordered.

• Communicate changes to physicians, families, and care team.
• Supervise nursing assistants and other team members.
• Follow infection control, safety, HIPAA and regs.

Join the Lorien Health Services LPN PRN Flex Pool and take control of your schedule while providing high-quality nursing care across our Maryland senior living communities.

We are hiring experienced LPNs for our employee PRN Float Pool. Choose from 8-hour, 12-hour, and 16-hour shifts and work at multiple Lorien locations throughout Baltimore County, Carroll County, Harford County, and Howard County.

Our PRN LPN Flex Pool offers scheduling options designed to provide flexibility:

• 8-hour shifts


• 12-hour shifts


• 16-hour shifts

PRN Flex Pool RNs are expected to work a minimum of five shifts per month across at least two different Lorien facilities.

Opportunities are available at Lorien communities throughout Central Maryland: Baltimore, Carroll, Harford and Howard Counties

Responsibilities

As an LPN in the Lorien PRN Flex Pool, you will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents while supporting our clinical teams across multiple Lorien communities. You will:

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with each resident’s individualized care plan


• Assess residents and monitor changes in condition


• Administer medications and treatments as ordered


• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation using PointClickCare (PCC)


• Communicate changes in resident condition to physicians, providers, families, and the interdisciplinary care team


• Supervise and support nursing assistants and other members of the care team as appropriate


• Follow infection prevention, safety, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements


• Respond to resident needs and clinical concerns with compassion and professionalismCollaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to support continuity and quality of care


• Provide exceptional resident-centered care that reflects Lorien’s commitment to helping residents live their best lives

Qualifications

LPN Qualifications

• Active LPN license


• Minimum of 2 years of direct-care LPN experience
