Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a part-time LPN (PRN) in Memphis, TN to provide high-quality nursing care in an assisted living setting. The role involves medication management, resident assessments, and collaboration with the nursing team to support wellness and safety.

Ideal candidates hold an LPN license and demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills, with flexibility to work 8–16 hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license to practice nursing in the state in which the community is located.
• Experience working with the senior population, preferably in assisted living or LTC.
• Must be a team player who works well with others and has experience supervising staff.
• Must possess critical thinking skills, ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently with strong organizational skills.
• Must be in good physical condition and able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to work an 8-16 hour flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
• Must attend all required trainings, CEU’s and staff meetings.
• Must be certified or willing to take and pass the certification class required by the state in which employed

Responsibilities

• Execute the medication management plan and periodically review documentation.
• Continuously assess resident needs with updates to care plans.
• Implement measures to ensure resident wellness and safety and document them.
• Work in a team to meet resident needs.
• Respond to emergencies timely and calmly.
• Report incidents and changes to Healthcare Director with documentation.
• Assist with meals, monitor diet acceptance and nutrition.
• Maintain accurate records and positive interdepartmental relations.
• Provide thorough shift handoffs and daily log reports.
• Motivate and supervise CNAs/RMAs.
