Job summary

The Orchards – East Liverpool, Chester is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). You will provide direct nursing care to residents, administer medications and treatments, and monitor health status while documenting care per state regulations. Collaboration with the care team ensures compassionate, high-quality resident outcomes.

PRN shifts include days and nights, with competitive wages and flexible scheduling, plus opportunities for professional development in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Ohio or West Virginia.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience.
• EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the RN, physician, or appropriate supervisor.
• Accurately document resident care and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with nurses, nursing assistants, therapists, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members to provide exceptional resident care.

What We’re Looking For:

PRN Requirements

PRN employees are required to maintain active employment status by working a minimum of one (1) scheduled shift per month. Additional shifts may be available based on staffing needs.
