A-Line Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Primary Care Clinic in Mechanicsville, VA. This part-time role offers 20-30 hours per week across 2-3 days and every other weekend, with opportunities for extension or conversion to full-time.

Responsibilities include administering vaccinations and medications, taking vital signs, patient assessments, basic emergency care, charting in the EHR, and coordinating patient access to services. Benefits are available for full-time staff.

• Licensed LPN with current license.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room.
• Availability to work part-time (20–30 hours) 2–3 days per week and alternating weekends.

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a LPN -Primary Care Clinic.

Hours

Part Time - 20-30 hours per week 2-3 days per week + every other weekend.

Business Hours - Monday - Friday 8:30am-7:30pm, Saturday 9AM - 5:30PM, Sunday 9AM - 4:30PM

Assignments are expected to last six months; Opportunities for extension and conversion to full-time employment may be available.

Compensation

The pay for this position is $37.17 an hour.

Responsibilities

• Administer vaccinations, injections, and oral, intravenous, injectable, and topical medications
• Obtain, monitor, and accurately document vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature
• Perform routine and complex patient assessments, monitor pain levels, identify abnormalities, and document treatment responses
• Provide emergency care in collaboration with the on-site provider during emergent situations
• Conduct medication reviews to identify potential side effects, contraindications, and drug interactions
• Perform mental health screenings to assess depression, mood, behavior, and cognitive function
• Accurately document patient medical histories, medications, allergies, surgeries, family history, and treatment information in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Provide patient education regarding medications, treatments, self-care, and disease management
• Coordinate patient access to healthcare services and connect patients with appropriate community resources
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Perform patient registration, intake, checkout, appointment scheduling, and reminder/outreach calls
• Assist with patient flow and waiting room management to promote an efficient and positive patient experience
• Serve as a chaperone during sensitive examinations while maintaining patient privacy, comfort, and dignity
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms, clinic areas, and waiting spaces in a clean, organized, welcoming, and well-stocked condition
• Support the healthcare team with additional clinical and administrative duties as needed
