Job summary

Bay Shores Senior Care and Rehab Center in Bay City, MI, is hiring an LPN to join our award-winning Skilled Nursing team. You will perform a variety of treatments, administer medications, and support patients and families in a compassionate, evidence-based care environment.

Qualifications

• A current license to practice as an LPN (Practical Nurse) in Michigan; current CPR certification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• A high level of analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans and rehabilitation, and develop solutions.
• Excellent customer service skills with commitment to delivering high-quality care.
• Team player committed to supporting the team and getting the job done.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of treatments, including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications as prescribed and advise patients and families regarding treatment changes and patient condition.
• Provide preventative and supportive care directed to both physiologic and psychosocial well-being.
• Oversee the Nurse Aide team including direction, training, recognition and evaluations.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors.

You will earn: $33.55 base pay!

How You Will Help People Every Day

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team:

• A current license to practice as an LPN (Practical Nurse) in Michigan; current CPR certification.
