Highpoint Health Sumner is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a post-surgical/ortho unit. This PRN night shift role emphasizes high-quality, patient-centered care on a 24-bed unit serving adult and adolescent patients after various procedures.

Ideal candidates have an active LPN license and current BLS certification, with willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required to be current upon hire.
• Graduate of accredited LPN program. Certifications: Current Licensed Practical Nurse /Licensed Vocational Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-surgical and ortho patient care on a fast-paced unit.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and adjust care plans.
• Monitor patients and respond to changes in condition promptly.
