Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a qualified professional to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures and to provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff in a regulatory environment.

You will interview donors, conduct medical histories, review test results, and collaborate with the Center Medical Director to address donor questions and ensure ongoing safety. CPR certification is required; prior plasma center experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a paramedic, nursing, PA, or medical training program.
• State licensure or certification requirements if graduation is from a foreign medical school.
• Minimum of one year in a health care environment.
• CPR Certification Required.
• Experience in plasma/whole blood centers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures.
• Provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff per SOPs.
• Interview donors and perform medical history reviews for eligibility.
• Work with Center Medical Director to address donor questions on suitability.
• Review test results and assess continued donor suitability.
• Counsel donors on reactive test results and refer for follow-up as needed.
• Escalate critical situations to Center Physician per protocol.
