Berkshire Faculty Services in Great Barrington, MA, is seeking an LPN to support the Physician Practice South County Locations. The nurse will assist with the nursing process under the MD/PA and must adhere to Berkshire Medical Center and Berkshire Faculty Services policies.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a 8:00am to 4:30pm shift, Monday through Friday. Compensation ranges from $29.20 to $44.47 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and a focus on professional development.

DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Licensed Practical Nurse supports the nursing process and functions under the direction of the MD/PA. The Licensed Practical Nurse must adhere to policy and procedure for Berkshire Medical Center and Berkshire Faculty Services clinical services.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS(Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)

Experience:

Physician office experience preferred.

Experience in specimen testing preferred.

Experience in handling multiple telephone lines and excellent clerical/organiztional skills required.

Education and Training:

Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.

License, Certification & Registration:

LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

BLS

Other Requirements:

Has a through knowledge of nursing principles and procedures.

Demonstrates continuing education in accordance with state regulations.

Data entry skills preferred, working knowledge of Windows based PC applications required.

Ability to work independently and take direction.

Self-motivated and ability to be independent and flexible in a team framework.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

The minimum and maximum of the hourly pay range for this position is shown above. Actual rates of pay may vary based on a range of factors including but not limited to experience and qualifications.
