Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team at Ware State Prison in Waycross, GA. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under direction from RNs and medical/psychiatric staff.

The position is per diem/PRN with day shifts; an active LPN license and CPR certification are required, and a background check is part of the process. Pay is $34 per hour with per diem flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• LPN license or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN supervision.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
• Work under the direction of medical and psychiatric staff to deliver care.
