Qualifications

• Graduation from an Accredited Practical Nurse Program.
• Current State of North Carolina or Compact Licensure is required.
• Multistate compact license must obtain NC licensure within 90 days of employment.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document direct nursing care under supervision; follow physician orders and plan of care.
• Assist physicians and other nursing personnel in diagnostic procedures.
• Evaluate nursing care and priorities; participate in policy development and environment of care.
• Participate in training of new employees and in-service education.
