Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Physician Office in Pediatric Gastroenterology. The LPN delivers patient care under physician supervision and helps prepare patients for visits.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the health care team, supporting procedures, and performing clerical tasks as needed. Minimum clinical experience is preferred; BLS and LPN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical patient care experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills to care for patients of all ages.
• Ability to use a computer-based scheduling/registration system.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians and health care team to meet patient needs.
• Provides direct nursing care under the physician's direction.
• Labels and packages specimens as trained.
• Supports indirect care through clerical/administrative duties.
• Chaperones providers during examinations as requested.
• Assists with procedures, treatments and interventions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
