Job summary

Mercy is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process under supervision of a licensed clinician. You will maintain patient rights and confidentiality, coordinate care with other departments, and uphold Mercy Service Standards and mission.

Education: high school diploma or GED; graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with an active LPN license in the hiring state. Certifications include BLS; additional unit certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• LPN license required in the hiring state with current Board of Nursing compliance.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process under supervision of a licensed clinician.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and preserve patient rights and confidentiality.
• Maintain Mercy Service Standards and mission in all duties.
