Job summary

The LPN delivers age-appropriate, family-centered care and works with physicians, RNs and other team members. Responsibilities include documenting care, supporting discharge planning, and ensuring safety and quality in every interaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) school/program.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment; PALS or PEARS within one year as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed professionals in performing nursing processes to deliver developmentally appropriate patient care.
• Record, document, and communicate patient data and care plans.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective patient care and discharge planning.
