Qualifications

• Has completed the prescribed curricula of a practical nursing program or equivalent.
• Current Valid LPN license (multistate or Oklahoma).
• 0–1 year related experience; advanced or education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and assesses patient needs and condition.
• Records vital signs, chief complaint, medications and social history.
• Documents services and diagnoses for encounter forms.
• Assists provider with examinations, procedures and treatments.
• Performs ancillary services per protocols (venipunctures, x-rays).
• Maintains medical records and test results.
• Coordinates care via calls, scheduling, prescriptions per protocol.
• Uses IDX, EMR and computer applications per policies.
• Tracks tests and referrals per protocol.
• Administers medications as directed by physician.
• Schedules tests and referrals; promotes patient education.
• Maintains compliance with OSHA and HIPAA; supports teamwork.
