Job summary

Parc Center for Disabilities is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time morning shift in Saint Petersburg, FL. You will administer medications, perform routine treatments, and maintain care documentation for adults with developmental disabilities living in a residential setting.

The role includes coordinating with providers and supporting health needs. The LPN must be licensed in Florida, with at least one year of nursing experience and strong communication skills to work with

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted LPN license in the State of Florida.
At least one year of recent nursing experience.
Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform the physical responsibilities of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and prescribed medical treatments.
Complete accurate medical documentation and reports.
Perform morning treatments and routine skin checks.
Identify and respond to participant medical concerns.
Answer incoming telephone calls related to medical needs.
Call providers to confirm medical appointments scheduled for the following day.
Communicate effectively with participants, families, healthcare providers, and Parc team.
