Mayo Clinic Southeast Family Clinic is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Responsibilities include administering treatments, reinforcing education, and supporting preventive care across pediatric to geriatric patients.

You will collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure coordinated care, manage clinic workflows, and participate in quality improvement projects. Strong communication and team skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of practical nursing with active LPN license.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a clinical setting.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
• Ability to work daytime hours in a fast-paced outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Conduct focused assessments and reinforce patient education.
• Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments.
• Support preventive care services, chronic disease management, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist with in-clinic procedures.
• Manage nurse visit calendar and clinic workflows for timely care.
• Communicate effectively and mentor others when assigned.
