Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follows established hospital policy regarding patient safety measures to provide patient care in a safe environment.
• Provides nursing care including administration of medications and nursing interventions.
• Performs ongoing assessments and communicates with supervising RN or Shift Manager to meet patient needs.
• Documents patient care activities and required quality monitoring items.
• Communicates patient information to physicians and team members to improve outcomes.
• Interacts with patients and families to educate and support health care outcomes.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and pursues ongoing education.
