Job summary

AdvisaCare is seeking Registered Nurses to provide private duty, skilled, and hospice care in the Lansing, MI area and surrounding communities. You will build close relationships with patients, delivering individualized care plans in patients' homes, supporting transitions from hospital to home, and improving quality of life.

Per-Diem, Part-time, and Full-time options are available with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Current MI Nursing License.
• Proven nursing experience.
• Familiarity with current professional knowledge.
• Strong problem solving and multitasking.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Team player with independent work ability.
• Compassionate with strong communication.
• Ability to travel within service area.
• CPR certification.
• Able to pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage records, complete necessary paperwork, and perform patient assessments.
• Ability to work independently.
• Participate in training and transitioning of the patient from a facility to the home setting.
• Comply with all policies and standards of safety and infection control.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in a courteous and customer-focused manner in accordance with AdvisaCare's standards of practice.
