Job summary

Memorial Hospital - Chester, IL is seeking a full-time LPN, CMA, or RMA for their Specialty Clinic on a day shift (Monday–Friday). No weekends or holidays required, with a supportive team and generous benefits.

New graduates or current students may be considered with a hiring bonus and potential tuition reimbursement. Responsibilities include patient intake, vitals, medications, scheduling, and coordinating with insurance providers.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant program.
• Current CPR/AED Certification as a Healthcare Provider.
• Active LPN license, CMA, or RMA credentials.
• Experience in a clinic or hospital setting preferred.
• Experience with insurance pre-certification process preferred.
• Required Vaccinations per IDPH, CDC and CMS
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vitals, collect medical history, and review medications.
• Communicate with patients regarding test results, orders, appointments, and follow-ups.
• Process prescriptions, medication refills, and coordinate with pharmacies.
• Process orders for outpatient testing (lab, diagnostic exams) and assist with scheduling.
• Maintain and update patient medical records.
• Administer medications, injections, and immunizations as directed by provider.
• Perform office testing and provide patient education.
• Schedule procedures and surgeries (EGD, colonoscopy, MRI, treadmill, CT).
• Work with insurance companies regarding referrals, diagnoses, and coding issues.
