Job summary

MU Health Care seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide patient-centered care at Fulton Family Health. You will room patients, document vital signs and histories, prepare for exams, assist providers, and manage medication administration as appropriate while keeping accurate EMR records.

You will help manage patient flow, support clinic operations, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure per Missouri Board or multi-state compact.
• MA: program graduation or 2 years MA experience.
• MA certifications within 6 months listed in requirements.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record vital signs during patient visits.
• Prepare patients for exams and explain procedures.
• Observe and document changes in patients' conditions.
• Support clinic operations by coordinating patient flow and EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure high-quality, safe patient care.
• Follow safety and infection control policies and procedures.
• Maintain nursing standards aligned with MU Health Care Mission.
• Participate in meetings and quality improvement activities.
• Perform unit-specific duties as assigned.
