Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care under supervision in an assigned unit. You will participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in line with hospital policies.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited LPN program graduate, active GA LPN license, and BLS certification; one year of clinical experience and ACLS/PALS or other certifications are preferred in specific units.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) render direct patient care to an assigned group of patients, in accordance with the philosophy, policies and procedures of Northside Hospital. LPNs participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. LPNs work under the direction of the Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED
