Job summary

The Monarch at Brooklyn Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our growing team. Salary is up to $40 an hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities include providing care for residents in the Skilled and Long Term Care Units, performing medication administration (including IVs), documenting vital signs, and educating residents and families. Collaboration with physicians, NPs and other staff is required, with CNAs supervised as needed.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for residents of our Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit.
• Medication Administration, including IVs.
• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcome.
• Provide resident and family education.
• Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
