Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for long-term care in a not-for-profit Christian environment. The role requires providing skilled nursing care, medication administration, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.

This full-time position includes night shifts, every other weekend and holiday requirements, with potential OT. An accredited practical nursing program graduate with an LPN license and CEU/competency training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current unencumbered LPN license.
• Completion of required CEU and competency training.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care under supervision for residents.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Contribute to assessments and care plans for residents.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, meds, behavior, and diet.
• Counsel residents and families on prevention and treatment plans.
