Job summary

Southern Health Partners is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our correctional healthcare team at the Cabarrus County Jail in Concord, North Carolina. This is a full-time night-shift position with a 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM schedule, offering a meaningful role in a secure environment.

You will administer medications, perform patient assessments, and collaborate with providers to maintain safe, continuous care.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Current CPR certification.
• Previous correctional, emergency, or other relevant nursing experience is helpful, but not required.
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Complete patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Respond to urgent and emergent healthcare needs.
• Communicate with providers and the healthcare team regarding patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Promote continuity of care throughout the facility.
