Job summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a licensed practical or vocational nurse (LPN/LVN) at the GS-7 level to provide frontline patient care and support under supervision. Qualifications

• Full active current and unrestricted LPN/LVN licensure in the United States.
• Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program approved by the State agency.
• United States Citizenship as required by VA policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized patient care activities as part of the nursing team.
• Collaborate with RN or Health Care Provider to deliver care and monitor patient status.
• Work 12 hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with alternating weekends.
