Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care in a neuro and pulmonary stroke unit. The role uses the nursing process under supervision to ensure patient rights and confidentiality are maintained.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care and performing complex assessments for COPD, respiratory failure, asthma, and pneumonia. The position requires a practical nursing degree, a current LPN license or ability to obtain within 90 days,

Qualifications

• LPN license required or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• BLS certification (required at hire).
• IV certification expected within one year.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care for neuro and pulmonary stroke units.
• Perform complex assessments for COPD, respiratory failure, asthma and pneumonia.
• Monitor neuro patients for subtle changes, especially post-stroke or TIAs.
• Deliver care under supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.
