Job summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is seeking an LPN for the Medical Surgical Unit on the night shift. This full-time position offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus and works under RN supervision to deliver skilled nursing care in a 273-bed acute care facility.

Requirements include graduating from an accredited LPN program, South Carolina nursing license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS (upon hire) with CPI training within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Experience: Prefer one-year full-time acute care experience.
• License: Current South Carolina nursing license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (upon hire); CPI (within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• The LPN, under the direct supervision of an RN, performs patient care and assists with patient teaching.
• Provides for psychosocial needs of patients and documents accordingly.
• Administers medications following hospital policy and procedures.
• Maintains accurate charting and communication with the care team.
