LCMC Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in New Orleans, LA to provide hands-on nursing care across cardiac, medical, surgical, and post-critical care areas. You will be on the front line, delivering compassionate bedside care, coordinating plans, and supporting families with education and updates.

Ideal candidates hold an LA LPN license, current BLS, and at least 2 years in a related clinical area, with a steadfast dedication to patient safety and teamwork in a busy hospital

Qualificações

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Practical Nurse Examiners.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years in a related clinical area.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to the development of a plan of care for assigned patients.
• Establish and/or revise priority for patient care activities based on acuity and needs.
• Monitor patient conditions, collaborate with care team and communicate with patients’ families.
• Educate patients and families and ensure safe, effective care and continuity of services.
• Maintain documentation consistent with established guidelines and ensure a safe environment.
