Job summary

Lovelace Health System in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a night shift, full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Medical-Surgical care. You will provide direct patient care under RN or physician supervision and support safe, effective nursing practices.

Qualifications include graduation from a practical nursing program, NM nursing license (or NM compact license within 90 days), CPR, and BLS within 14 days of hire. One year of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The LPN is under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, provides direct, safe, appropriate, and effective nursing care to designated patients in accordance with patient needs, current standards of nursing practice, and organizational policies within the scope of LPN Licensure and hospital policy.
• Performs general nursing tasks.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

• Lovelace Westside Hospital provides care to Albuquerque’s Westside and Rio Rancho, including a 24-hour emergency department and a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical capabilities such as Ear Nose and Throat (ENT), bariatric and orthopedic service lines.
