Job summary

Lakeview Center seeks an LPN to provide skilled nursing services to adults and children in behavioral health, substance use, and related settings. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician, you will contribute to assessments, care planning, and direct patient care in a safe, therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, monitoring client risk, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Must hold Florida LPN license.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring populations preferred.
• Must be able to use a computer.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing services to mental health, substance abuse, or developmentally disabled clients.
• Develop and implement treatment plans under supervision by a RN or physician.
• Monitor client risk and safety and maintain a therapeutic environment.
• Document care and coordinate with the care team.

Overview:

Primary duty is to provide skilled nursing services to mental health, substance abuse, or developmentally disabled clients, under the direction of a Registered Nurse or medical doctor, and to provide a variety of related services to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment. Services include but are not limited to assessment, treatment planning, direct service provision, person centered services using specialized knowledge and skills and management of client risk and safety.

Role Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Must have a valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Florida.
• Must be certified in CPR.
• Must be able to effectively perform client/patient behavior management techniques (CPI) with appropriate training.
• Must be able to provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring services to meet the needs of individuals served and their families.
• Must be able to use a computer.
• Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license from the state in which you reside, a good driving record and be insurable under the corporate policy.

Compensation:

Base pay ranges between $23.5846 to $25.4279 per hour. Salary is based on experience.
