Job summary

Healthier Mississippi People LLC, Canton, MS, seeks an LPN to assist in providing direct patient care to assigned patients. You will administer and monitor treatments per the current plan or as directed by the supervisor, and perform duties in alignment with the medical center's purpose and standards.

The ideal candidate has an active LPN license and is prepared for IV Therapy if required by the clinical area.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: LPN license.
• Certifications, Licenses or Registration Required: Valid LPN license.
• LPN certified in IV Therapy if required by the clinical area.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care by executing and administering treatments directed by supervisor.
• Reports to supervisor and other staff any patient issues and concerns.
• Maintains accurate patient records (e.g. charts, schedules, procedures, medication/treatment history).
• Educates patients and family members in accordance with established plan of care.
• Participates on committees or projects to improve patient care and service quality.
• Practices safety, infection control and environmental standards.

To assist in providing direct care to assigned patients. To administer and monitor treatments in accordance with current treatment plan or as directed by the supervisor. To perform job duties in accordance with the medical center's purpose.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of patient care procedures and protocols. Verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills. Knowledge and understanding of computer systems, tools, and programs. Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assists with patient care by executing and administering treatments and procedures directed by supervisor.
• Reports to supervisor and other staff any patient issues and concerns.
• Maintains accurate patient records (e.g. charts, schedules, procedures, medication/treatment history, etc.).
• Educates patients and family members in accordance with established plan of care.
• Serves on at least one nursing council, hospital or medical center committee, task force, or project team to improve patient care or work area demonstrates core standards of exceptional customer service.
• Practices safety, environmental, and infection control methods.

Physical and Environmental Demands:

Requirements
