Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta, under Universal Health Services, invites licensed practical nurses to join our psychiatric care team in Augusta, GA. The LPN will provide direct patient care, crisis management, and support a therapeutic environment under clinical supervision.

Qualified candidates hold Georgia nursing licensure, CPR/BLS, a valid driver's license, and preferably 1 year of psychiatric experience in acute hospital or residential settings.

LCCA currently has exciting opportunities for exceptional Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN). The Licensed Practical Nurse is a key member of the Lighthouse Nursing Team who will integrate and coordinate a patient centric strategy with a keen focus on patient care; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective treatment and medication management is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements. The LPN is expected to deliver quality direct care of patients under appropriate clinical supervision, to residents with psychiatric disorders admitted to the residential units.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• To provide safety, supervision and crisis management.
• To provide assessment and medical management, and to support the management of a therapeutic environment.
• Responsible for comprehensive assessment of persons whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbance, substance issues or inability to function or maintain in the community.
