Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Texarkana is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide appropriate nursing care under an RN’s supervision on our unit.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments and with vents/trachs/PICC lines is a plus; 2 years of direct patient care recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the unit; gather and report data, carry out orders, and perform therapeutic procedures for patients.
• Perform duties consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
