Job summary

Riverside Medical Clinic in Riverside, CA is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team. You will perform essential clinical tasks, take vital signs, prepare exam rooms, assist physicians, and help educate patients while adhering to infection control standards.

The role requires California LVN licensure, BLS, and (preferably) ACLS/IV certification; prior LVN experience in a multi-specialty setting is valued.

Qualifications

• Requires CA LVN licensure and BLS; ACLS preferred.
• HS diploma or GED required; graduate of LVN program.
• Two years’ LVN experience in a multi-specialty group is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients, take vital signs, record on chart.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians during procedures.
• Administer medications and document time, dosage, route.
• Initiate IVs and monitor IV lines under physician supervision.
• Perform EKGs and routine laboratory tests as directed.
• Travel between departments/locations as needed.
