Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a long-term care assignment. This 13-week contract covers the second shift from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM and requires at least one year of LTC experience.

The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, wound care, medication administration, and support with ventilator-related care as needed, with strict PPE and isolation protocols observed. Applicants must hold an LPN/LVN license in Wisconsin and a current BLS certification;

Qualifications

• One year of LTC or skilled nursing facility experience required.
• Wisconsin LPN/LVN license active.
• BLS certification required.
• Must be available for weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled.
• Experience with PPE and isolation precautions.

Responsibilities

• Perform neurological assessments and monitor status.
• Carry out dressing changes and wound assessments.
• Manage foley catheters, insulin, IV therapy, wound vacs, and JP drains.
• Provide end-of-life/palliative care when needed.
• Operate CPAP/BiPAP and use Hoyer lift as required.
