Laurel Oaks Behavioral Health Center in Dothan, AL is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN/LVN) to provide direct nursing care to patients on our units. The LPN will report to the Nurse Manager, RN House Supervisor, or RN Charge Nurse to ensure high-quality patient care.

The facility is a 118-bed acute psychiatric hospital and residential treatment center for youths, part of Universal Health Services. Current Alabama LPN license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Alabama.
• 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• LPN must have credentials to direct physical management of the patient and have CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process.
• Report to Nurse Manager, RN House Supervisor, or RN Charge Nurse.
