Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Abilene is hiring for full-time LPN/LVN positions with day, night and PRN shifts. We offer a supportive, growth‑oriented environment in a national inpatient rehabilitation leader, where teamwork and compassionate care are valued.

You’ll provide direct patient care under the plan of care, monitor vitals, work with RNs to implement care plans, and build meaningful relationships with patients on the road to recovery.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical or general hospital experience preferred.
• Rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, aligning with the care plan and physician orders.
• Observe patient vitals, symptoms, and responses to treatments.
• Collaborate with RNs to report findings and execute care plans.
• Cultivate relationships with patients to support physical, mental, and emotional recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
