Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to support resident health and wellbeing. You will monitor health trends, transcribe physician orders, and help oversee medication administration to uphold clinical quality across the community.

You’ll conduct move-in and routine assessments, follow up on incidents, educate care staff, and collaborate with families and physicians.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• Graduate of approved nursing program.
• 1+ year experience in senior care or clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct move-in, 3-day, semi-annual, and change-of-condition assessments.
• Perform monthly wellness visits and monitor health trends.
• Follow up on falls, incidents, and hospital returns.
• Transcribe physician orders and ensure accurate MAR/TAR documentation.
• Complete medication audits and oversee medication compliance.
• Partner with families, physicians, and the Resident Care Director.
• Support infection control and regulatory standards.
• Educate and guide care staff on documentation and medication practices.
