Job summary

Windsor Cypress Gardens seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) to join our compassionate care team in California. Under RN supervision, you will deliver a full range of nursing care, from admission to discharge, with a focus on residents and families receiving high-quality services.

Responsibilities include daily rounds, medication administration, supervision of unlicensed staff, and safeguarding patient confidentiality. Previous SNF or PCC exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• LVN/LPN with current licensure to practice in the state (CA).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software.

If yes, here’s how you will contribute to the team:

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN), you will put resident service first and ensure that residents and their families receive the highest quality care. Under the direction of a registered nurse, you will deliver a full range of nursing care. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
• Conducting daily rounds to observe the resident’s physical and emotional status.
• Medication administration.
• Monitoring resident care provided by unlicensed staff.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of all resident care information.
• Promoting a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment.

Must Have:

• LVN / LPN with current licensure to practice in the state
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn

Nice to Have:

• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
• Nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
