Job summary

Vi in Aventura, FL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver care and services to residents. You will identify resident needs, implement prescribed interventions, and collaborate with the care team to evaluate outcomes and improve care delivery.

Qualifications include graduation from an approved nursing program for LPN/LVN, current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, and strong basic computer skills. Prior geriatric experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN** As a LPN you will be responsible for delivering care and services to residents through the identification of resident needs and implementing prescribed interventions along with evaluating outcomes and conditions. This position performs personal care for residents as needed and communicates and collaborates with other members of the care team to resolve resident care problems, enhance care delivery and participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Qualified applicants are required to have graduated from a School of Nursing for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses.
• Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications are required.
• Current First Aid certification is required or must be willing and able to become First Aid certified.
• Minimum 6 months of experience working as a Licensed Practical/Vocation Nurse is preferred.
• Prior experience working with geriatric clients is preferred.
• Food handlers certification, where required.
• Basic computer skills and/or willingness to learn.
