Pediatric Associates is seeking a dedicated licensed practical nurse to support pediatric patient care. You will perform patient vitals, document histories and immunizations, assist doctors, and coordinate communications with families and insurers.
A strong focus on safety, teamwork, and clinical protocol is required. Ideal candidates have a nursing diploma, LPN license with CPR, and a preference for prior medical-office experience.

Performing nursing care is essential to the assessment, promotion, maintenance and restoration of patient's health and wellness.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Graduate from an accredited practical/technical school of nursing.
LPNand Active CPR certification required.
One year's work experience in a medical office setting preferred.
Ability to perform necessary vital signs for pediatrics and obtain patient histories.
Knowledge of basic medical terminology, and immunization requirements for children.
Ability to assess emergency situations and act accordingly.
Maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public.
Knowledge of computer desired

This job must be U.S. based.
Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and fingerdexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Frequent exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids, toxic substances, ionizing radiation,medical preparations, and other conditions common to an office environment.
