Job Summary

LPN LTC position at Talented Medical Solutions. Contract, in-office, Bismarck, ND, United States.

LPN needed for nights, ASAP start. Shift: 7 p.m. – 7 a.m. Rotating schedule with end‑of‑week wrap. IV certification preferred but not required.

Matrix charting. Nurse‑to‑patient ratio for nights: 1:24 to 1:28. Typical schedule: 33 hours one week, 44 hours the next, with overtime possibly available. One‑hour break required per 12‑hour shift. Badges not required; staff use their own.

Orientation is a few hours, but the facility can provide more if desired, coordinating with the Director of Nursing or unit manager.

Unit: Long‑Term Care skilled unit (LTAC) includes ventilators, traches, gastrostomy tubes, etc. Neighborhoods: one with 3 residents with trachs and vents (stable). These patients are on ventilator support at night (BIPAP) with tracheostomy, 7 a.m.–7 p.m. There are also rehab patients and residents with PEG tubes. A full‑time medication aide handles medications and tube feeds.

Set schedule: 33 hours one week, 44 hours the next. The other long‑term care neighborhood includes tube feeds, wounds, etc. Scrubs – any are acceptable.

Qualifications: LPN license. IV certification preferred but not required. Ability to work nights, rotate schedule, communicate with nursing staff and management.
