Job summary

Wichita Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants in a faith-based, not-for-profit senior living community. We offer growth, learning, and a strong team culture that centers residents first.

Starting at $28.00 per hour with shift and weekend differential under our PREMIUM PAY PLAN; additional pay based on experience. I.V. certification and geriatric care experience are helpful as we serve our residents daily.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved LPN Program.
• Must possess a current license to practice as an LPN in this state.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
• Previous geriatric nursing/long-term care experience is a plus.
• I.V. Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the Community and as required by leadership to ensure quality care.

Education

Graduate of an approved LPN program

Current LPN license in this state

Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and long-term care regulations

Geriatric nursing/long-term care experience
