Personnel Pool of Virginia, Inc. in Richmond, VA seeks qualified Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a contract opportunity in a long-term care setting. You will provide direct nursing care under RN supervision and collaborate with the healthcare team.

The role requires an active Virginia LPN license, strong communication, and the ability to complete background checks and credentialing. Seasonal assignments may include travel stipends and weekly pay options.

Formación

• Current, active LPN license valid to practice in Virginia.
• Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or veterans care preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification as required for the assignment.
• Ability to complete background screening, credentialing, and pre-employment requirements.
• Dependable with strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct nursing care under the direction of an RN and in accordance with applicable standards and policies.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and within scope of practice.
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition to the RN, physician, or appropriate healthcare professional.
• Obtain and record vital signs and other resident information.
• Maintain complete and accurate nursing documentation.
• Assist with implementation of individualized resident care plans.
• Provide guidance and direction to CNAs as appropriate.
• Follow infection-control, safety, confidentiality, and resident-rights requirements.
• Respond appropriately to resident needs and emergencies.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team.
